Custom Maxon EC-max 30 replacement
Custom BLDC Motor HALT Validation
We asked Panda to develop a brushless motor to replace the Maxon EC-max 30 (272769). Their team customized the shaft, mounting dimensions, Molex connector, bearings, winding materials and other key components for our application, and reinforced the motor with laser welding. The final design passed our HALT program under prolonged extreme temperatures from –50 °C to +120 °C and high vibration. We are very satisfied with its electrical performance and stability, and we have already moved into volume purchasing. We look forward to a long-term partnership with Panda.

Our product uses 45 V PWM control on a 24 VDC brushless motor. With motors from other suppliers, we experienced short circuits after only two or three months in service.
